Approved regulations for cannabis market.
California’s cannabis licensing authorities announced this month that the Office of Administrative Law (OAL) approved all state regulations for cannabis businesses. Previously, there had been emergency regulations put in place by the three cannabis licensing authorities in California which consists of the Bureau of Cannabis Control, the Department of Public Health, and California Department of Food and Agriculture in order to regulate the commercial distribution of cannabis in California.
These previously enforced emergency regulations provided a temporary structure for the commercial sale of cannabis. Two years later, the OAL has approved final regulations for the cannabis market from seed to sale. These regulations take effect immediately and the previous regulations are no longer in effect.
